To ask the President of the Board of Trade what was the overall amount guaranteed under the loan guarantee scheme in each of the last seven years, the 35W average amount guaranteed, the number of businesses that have taken up the scheme, the number of businesses that have applied for loans under the scheme, the number of businesses that have been refused loans under the scheme and the amount paid out under defaulted loans.

The number of businesses which have applied for, and the number that have been refused loans is not available.
