§ Mr. YeoWe received 101 applications from federations to become pilot sites. 12 pilot sites were selected, with funding as follows:

The PSI report that the pilots have made important developments in the dissemination of information to disabled people. A formal evaluation is being carried out by the Research Institute for Consumer Affairs, who will' report to the Department of Health after the project ends in 1994–95.
