§ Mr. YeoInformation is not yet available about the numbers of children looked after at 31 March 1992 by individual local authorities. However, the Children Act Report 1992 contains estimated totals for England by legal status, including whether subject to a care order.
The number of children who were in the care of each local authority in 1991 are given in "Children in Care of local authorities year ending 31 March 1991, England".
