Mr. O'NeillTo ask the President of the Board of Trade, pursuant to his answer of 26 April,Official Report, column 306, if a municipal waste-to-energy scheme which had been granted a waste disposal contract relatively soon after a third tranche of the non-fossil fuel obligation is announced would be eligible to bid into the new order.
§ Mr. Eggar[holding answer 4 May 1993]: Provided that such a project met the other requirements, I would expect it to be eligible to bid.
