§ Mr. Hanley[holding answer 30 April 1993]: Information on the breakdown between students from the Republic of Ireland and other EC countries is not readily available and could only be obtained at disproportionate cost: £876,765 was paid in fees for students from EC countries in 1989–90; £2,616,822 in 1990–91; and £3,830,969 in 1991–92. The provisional figure for 1992–93 is £4,598,250.
§ Mr. Peter RobinsonTo ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what estimate he has made of the number of third-level student places required in Northern Ireland in 1995 up to the year 2000.
