§ Mr. SackvillePremises producing meat-based products were required to register with local authorities under the Food Act 1984. This requirement was superseded by the requirement in the Food Premises (Registration) Regulations 1991 that all premises used for food business, including those producing meat foods, are liable to be registered with the local food authority. In neither case are details held centrally.
