§ Mr. Yeo
The Department has received a number of representations from projects providing residential care for alcohol and drug misusers about the changes introduced by this Act. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State and I have both also met the national voluntary organisations representing alcohol and drug misuse services, leading service providers and representatives of local authority associations to discuss the changes.
