§ Mr. PortilloThe names of agencies and their chief executives are published in the "Next Steps Briefing Note, 1 April 1993", available from the Cabinet Office. Information about agency wage bills and the salaries of chief executives for 1991–92 is available from the published accounts of the agencies concerned; copies are available in the House of Commons Library. For 1991–92 the total full-year wage bill of agencies in operation for all or part of that year is estimated at about £3.2 billion. The information requested is not yet available for 1992–93.
