HC Deb 31 March 1993 vol 222 c240W
Mr. Dover

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what arrangements are proposed for those who are unable to obtain a national health service dentistry service to be recompensed for the additional costs of treatment and travel involved in obtaining alternative dental treatment.

Dr. Mawhinney

There is no need for any patient to seek alternatives to national health service dentistry. Patients experiencing any difficulty in obtaining NHS dental treatment should contact their local family health services authority, which will be able to help.
