§ Mr. Gwilym JonesBetween 1982 and 1984, various samples were collected by the farmer's veterinary surgeons and examined at veterinary investigation centres or at a private veterinary laboratory. In addition, senior veterinary officers from the veterinary investigation service made a number of visits to the farm in question. It was concluded that there was ample evidence to support the view that the animal problems were caused by common disease conditions.
