§ Mr. YeoWe have always made clear our commitment to a real choice of services for users and a mixed economy of care. We have reinforced this with initiatives such as the statutory direction on choice, giving people the right to enter the home they prefer, the conditions attached to the special transitional grant—which will mean that most of the funding for community care services will be spent in the independent sector—and the establishment of a users' and carers' group to provide direct feedback to Ministers.
