HC Deb 23 March 1993 vol 221 c587W
Mr. Ieuan Wyn Jones

To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will make it her policy to extend the current breast cancer screening programme by individual invitation to women over 64 years of age.

Mr. Sackville

There is evidence to suggest that women over the age of 64 are less likely to accept routine invitations to screening. Should experience show a strong demand we will look again at including this age group within the recall programmes.
