To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage what level of interest he expects in the forthcoming batch of independent radio franchises which are up for renewal in London.

Mr. Key

The Radio Authority is responsible for licensing of radio services and I understand that it expects considerable interest in the London-wide licences.
