§ Mr. HanleyThe Eastern health and social services board is currently consulting the public about its proposal for acute hospital services and has not yet therefore reached decisions. However, I know that the board regards as a high priority the need to ensure that high-quality accident and emergency services will continue to be available and will take this into account in reaching its conclusions.
