To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what plans he has for the disposal of Vulcan aircraft XH 558.

Mr. Aitken

Following evaluation of the returned tenders for the sale of the Vulcan XH 558, the aircraft will be sold to C Walton Ltd. (Aircraft Division) at Bruntingthorpe aerodrome in Leicestershire. The new owners will preserve the aircraft as a museum exhibit.
