§ Mr. NorrisStandards for the design and construction of ship's sewage systems are being developed in the International Maritime Organisation's ship design and equipment sub-committee with a target date for completion of 1995. Merchant shipping legislation will be introduced to give effect to international requirements as soon as they are made.
