§ Mr. Archie HamiltonThe percentage of net earnings which service bands contribute to public funds from fee-paying engagements normally ranges from 5 to 10 per cent. Individual band funds receive between 5 to 20 per cent, and the musicians 65 to 75 per cent. The balance is due to the director of music and/or conductor.
