To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to his answer of 3 March,Official Report, columns 147–48, if he will place in the Library each of the submissions being funded under the programme to reduce truancy out of the grants for education support and training scheme 1993–94.

No. The submissions included information supplied by LEAs in confidence. The Department will shortly be publishing a directory giving very brief details of each of the approved projects. I will arrange for a copy of that directory to be placed in the Library.
