§ Mr. RichardsTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales what is the budget for the Health Promotion Authority for Wales in 1993–94.
§ Mr. Gwilym JonesSubject to parliamentary approval, in 1993–94 £3,619,000 will be made available to the Health Promotion Authority for Wales including £384,000 for new projects, £20,000 to fund the authority's capital expenditure and £126,000 for the authority's life education centres project. The allocation will be conditional upon satisfactory completion of annual performance review. It represents a further and substantial commitment of resources to the authority.
