Mr. Milburn

To ask the Secretary of State for Education if he will publish a table showing the destination of school leavers by region for each year since 1980.

Mr. Boswell

The table gives estimated details of the intended destinations of school leavers by region in England since 1980. These figures are published each year in the Department's annual publication "Statistics of Education School Examinations GCSE and GCE."
