§ Mr. RedmondTo ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage how many staff were(a) employed arid (b) made redundant by (i) the British Tourist Authority and (ii) the English tourist board in each of the last 10 years.
§ Mr. KeyThe staff of the British Tourist Authority arid the English tourist board are direct employees of the two bodies and all decisions relating to their employment are taken by the members of the boards. Therefore, this question should be addressed to the chief executive of each organisation.
