Table 1 shows the total number of reports to the procurator fiscal for 1990–92, and the total number and percentage of these reports which resulted in court proceedings. Table 2 shows the number of persons proceeded against in 1990–91 by offence category and the number and percentage of these persons who subsequently had a charge proved against them.
