To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will introduce a system to limit waiting times for out-patient appointments.

§ Mr. Sackville
Under the patients charter, health authorities already set and publish local charter standards for first out-patient appointments, and from 1993–94 regional health authorities will set targets in their corporate contracts for local improvements.
