asked Her Majesty's Government:

What area of land (hectares) in (1) agricultural h Foldings and (2) total, including non-agricultural areas and common land, has been designated as (a) Less Favoured Severely Disadvantaged Area and (b) Less Favoured Disadvantaged Area in (i) England, (ii) Scotland, (iii) Wales and (iv) Northern Ireland; tabulated by year of designation.

The table indicates the total area of agricultural land designated as less favoured by year of designation. The other information requested cannot be provided except at disproportionate cost.
