§ Mr. Yeo[holding answer 23 February 1993]: The budget allocation for the health advisory service (HAS) in 1991–92 was £432,282, and the expenditure was £398,483; in addition to this the HAS had access to Departmental funds to pay for the secondment of personnel from health authorities and social services departments and £667,104 was spent on this in 1991–92. In 1992–93, the HAS budget included an allocation for secondments, and was set at £997,500; the estimated out-turn is £450,000.
