What was the result of the review announced in February 1992 of magistrates' training in the criteria contained in the Bail Act 1976.

The Judicial Studies Board has reviewed the training given to magistrates on bail matters and on 31st August 1992 the Chairman of the Magisterial Committee of the board wrote to all training officers giving advice on best practice. A copy of this letter has been placed in the Library.
