§ Mr. WhittingdaleTo ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the total value of duty-free sales on(a) surface and (b) air routes between Britain and the continent in (i) the first quarter of 1993 and (ii) the first quarter of 1992; and how much additional revenue would have been received by the Exchequer if these sales had been made through retail outlets in the United Kingdom.
