§ Mr. HanleyTotal expenditure to date from the Gulf Trust is £753,857, some of which has been in the form of loans on beneficial terms. Recent payments made by the benevolent funds have yet to be reimbursed from the Gulf Trust. 161 beneficiaries have so far been provided with assistance from the trust together with four charitable bodies and three charitable funds.
