Mr. Ainger

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales (1) how much his Department has paid in each of the last five years under the Bellwin formula to local authorities in Wales; if he will list each receiving authority; how much they received; how much each authority had to spend before receiving any grant; and what percentage the grant represented of that total eligible expenditure by the authority on the particular emergency;

(2) how much his Department has paid in grant in each of the last five years under the Bellwin formula to local authorities in Wales; and if he will list (a) each receiving authority, (b) how much each authority had to spend up to and beyond the threshold before receiving grant and (c) what percentage the grant represented of that expenditure at (b)
