Mr. Harvey

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport (1) what is the current timetable for the establishment of an M1 to M62 link road; and if he will make a statement;

(2) what plans he has, following the formal consultation process, to alter or abandon the proposals for the M1 to M62 link road.

We expect to be in a position to make an announcement about the way forward on this scheme before the autumn.
