§ Mr. YeoBenomyl and related fungicides are used on a wide variety of crops to prevent certain fungal diseases. They have been used for many years without any detrimental effects on the environment being observed. The pesticide will be reviewed in due course at European Community level under the new Pesticides Directive, 91/414/EEC.
