§ Mrs. ShephardThe objective of agricultural tenancy reform would be to encourage more letting of land by giving landlords and tenants greater freedom to negotiate the terms of their own agreements. The industry has been consulted on proposals and its views are now being considered. The introduction of the necessary legislation will depend on parliamentary time becoming available.
