To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if the Government intends to seek EC objective funding to help finance the replacement of the Stornaway to Ullapool ferry.

It is too early to say what projects might be funded from 1 January 1994 under the new round of the European structural funds, the regulations for which are still under negotiation.
