To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish the Ernst and Young econometric model for local government finance which is being utilised by the Local Government Commission.

Mr. Baldry

The model has been developed by Ernst and Young in consultation with the Local Government Commission. Decisions on publication would be for Ernst and Young or the Commission.
