asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have withdrawn the remuneration proposals put to the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee in a letter dated 12th March 1993, and in particular the 2,000 prescriptions per month qualification for the payment of the new Professional Allowance.

Discussions are continuing with the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee about the longer term pay arrangements for community pharmacists. In the light of those discussions the two parties can return to the question of the pay offer for 1993–94.
