§ Mr. KeyThe removal of the right to drive in another member state or other non-EC country applies only in that jurisdiction. Drivers banned in other countries may drive here provided they are not banned in the United Kingdom. Work has recently started under European political co-operation in the judicial co-operation working group on criminal matters to explore the possibility of an agreement which would mean that a driver disqualified from driving in one member state would not be able to drive elsewhere in the Community.

§ Mr. KeyThe jurisdiction of the British courts only applies to this country. Drivers banned here may legally drive elsewhere in the European Community.
