§ Mr. McLoughlinIn 1992 the United Kingdom imported 10,900 metric tonnes of used tyres, worth £5.4 million. The countries from which they were imported are given in the table. Policy on their fitness for use and disposal are matters for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Transport.
