§ Mr. GoodladMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs raised human rights issues in his meeting with Vice Premier and Foreign Minister Qian Qichen on 8 July and specifically expressed concern about the situation in Tibet. He also handed over a copy of the report by Lord Howe's delegation on human rights in China and an updated list of cases of concern, including two Tibetans recently detained in Lhasa.
