§ Mr. RedwoodThe 1991 census recorded 1, 076 lone parent households with dependent children in Wales which were headed by women aged 16 to 19. Comparable data are not available from the 1981 census. Around one in 100 girls aged 13 to 15 resident in Wales became pregnant in 1990.
