To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment how many domestic water disconnections took place in Severn-Trent during the last 12 months and in each of the previous five years.

§ Mr. Yeo
The information requested is given in the table, and relates to Severn Trent Water's supply area, and234W that of the former Severn Trent water authority. Information on disconnections prior to privatisation includes total disconnections, domestic and non-domestic.
