§ Mr. Robin SquireIn consultation with the local authority associations, we are currently reviewing in the light of the 1991 census data the ways in which the education elements of standard spending assessments reflect the different social and ethnic characteristics of local authorities. The review is not yet complete. Before reaching decisions on the outcome, we shall take into account all the available relevant evidence.
