§ Mr. Charles WardleCitizens of the United States of America are subject to immigration control and must qualify to enter under the terms of the immigration rules. My right hon. and learned Friend may direct exclusion if a person's presence would not be conducive to the public good. Considerations will be given to any evidence which may justify the exclusion of individuals identified as members of the group intending to visit the United Kingdom in September.
Enforcement of the Public Order Act 1986 as it relates to behaviour which may cause harassment or fear of violence is the responsibility of chief officers of police.
