City challenge expenditure covers a wide range of activities contributing to urban regeneration. Each city challenge action plan reflects local needs and opportunities. Some plans place high priority on crime 773W prevention expenditure. However, it is not possible to quantify accurately expenditure directed solely at crime prevention.
