To ask the Secretary of State for Defence pursuant to the oral answer by the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of 3 June 1992, Official Report, column 823, if he will release for public perusal the files bearing the title "Capture of Rudolf Hess" between May and July 1941 ref.no. WO 199/3288A and B.

Both files are already available for perusal at the Public Record Office. File WO 199/3288A was released to the public domain in 1977 and WO 199/3288B in January 1992.
