§ Mr. Tony Banks
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will publish details of investment in the London underground system made in 1992–93 and planned for 1993–94, 1994–95 and 1995–96.

§ Mr. Norris
Total investment expenditure by London Underground in 1992–93 is currently forecast to be about £680 million. London Transport is still finalising its budget 359W plans for future years, in light of the autumn statement, but I expect London Underground investment, including provision for the Jubilee line extension and crossrail, to be in the region of £ 1 billion per annum over the next three years.
