To ask the Secretary of State for Education if he will list the contracts awarded by his Department to KPMG Management Consultants over the past 12 months.

Mr. Boswell

Six contracts were awarded by the Department for Education to KPMG Management Consulting in the 12 months to 31 December 1992:

  1. (a) Market testing programme for the Department.
  2. 1(b) Financial Management Review of Research Council contracts with other Government Departments.
  3. (c) Review of Data Collection Processing System.
  4. (d) Customer Survey (Teachers' Pensions Agency).
  5. (e) Follow up to the Customer Survey (Teachers' Pensions Agency).
  6. (f) Assessment of the Pensions Administration System project (Teachers' Pensions Agency).
