§ Sir Patrick MayhewBetween 1982 and 1992 13 prisoners convicted of scheduled offences in Northern Ireland, made a total of 18 applications for permanent transfer to Great Britain but were unsuccessful in securing transfer. A further 10 prisoners transferred to Great Britain in the same period but as their records are now held in the receiving jurisdiction it is not known if they were convicted of scheduled offences.
