§ Dr. MawhinneyWe have no plans for a research programme into photosensitive epilepsy in children. There is a well-established association between certain types of flashing light and epileptic seizures in children known to have photosensitive epilepsy or potential sufferers who for a variety of reasons have not yet been identified. The need for specific action in relation to the information and advice available to users of computer games is a matter for my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade.
