HC Deb 11 January 1993 vol 216 c551W
Mr. Clifton-Brown

To ask the Chairman of the Public Accounts Commission if he will make a statement on the resources available to the National Audit Office to undertake effective auditing of all projected next steps agencies.

Sir Peter Hordern

The Comptroller and Auditor General is the statutory auditor of all the agencies. The National Audit Office's corporate plan for 1993–94 to 1997–98, considered and approved by the commission in July 1992, includes resources for the audit of existing agencies and those expected to be established over the next five years.
