§ Mr. Lennox-BoydWe continue to support the efforts of the United Nations and the Organisation of American States to broker a settlement. Along with EC partners we issued a statement on 15 December 1992 condemning continued human rights abuses and demanding a return to constitutional order; and on 21 January 1993 issued a further statement in support of United Nations-Organisation of American States efforts and rejecting recent elections in Haiti as invalid and undemocratic.
